Long-Term Reintegration
Strategy

Reintegration is a long-term process that requires continuous support from the community, religious figures, and local authorities. In Poso, this support has come in the form of consistent engagement, monitoring, and collaboration with local leaders.

Continuous Community Engagement

Former terrorist inmates who have found success through economic ventures and psychosocial support often become mentors for others. This creates a cycle of support that strengthens the overall reintegration process. Successful reintegration efforts in Poso involved ongoing involvement from local leaders and community members. Economic empowerment and psychosocial support must be continuous.

Collaboration with Civil Society and Local Authorities

Sustainable reintegration requires continuous collaboration between civil society organizations, local religious leaders, and government bodies. In Poso, the Konsorsium Reintegrasi has been instrumental in coordinating these efforts, ensuring former terrorist inmates receive both economic and psychosocial support by providing them with both moral and economic support.
